i enjoyed the central location near catalunya metro station. the room faced la rambla. the 24-hour buffet offered food and drinks at any time (i appreciated this very much).
the hallway carpeting looked somewhat old.

Enchanting Stay with Good Touches

The location proved convenient. Complimentary snacks and drinks were available around the clock. I was able to bring them back to my room. Viviene greeted me warmly and explained everything, she. The air conditioning was a huge plus, alongside the fridge and microwave.
I found that the key policy was somewhat inconvenient. I had to leave my room key at the front desk each time I exited and entered. It made me a little uneasy leaving my key.

The hotel sits right on a vibrant pedestrian street, putting it close to main attractions. Being near the Plaza de Catalunya and La Rambla, the hotel offers easy access to many sights. It is wonderfully central.

the pillow cases had stains and the bed cushions were smelly. my room reminded me of a prison. the breakfast was embarrasing, like a cold pasta i must heat in the microwave. this has been one of worst experiences i've had.

i found the staff to be quite helpful. the front desk was always manned and the people were ready to assist with directions. the room had a nice, comfortable bed and the shower was fabulous. it made my mornings much better.
the hotel is a little old and you can see it. our room, while clean, had some retrofitted fixtures in the bathroom that looked a little out of place. also, i found the breakfast options to be somewhat limited.

Our room featured a charming little balcony with views overlooking La Rambla. The location put us right in the heart of the action. The all-day buffet was a wonderful addition. It provided snacks and drinks whenever we needed them (a appreciated service!).
The hotel felt a bit dated. The carpets showed significant wear. I think fresh carpets or deeper cleaning is needed.
